Aspirations before and after the course

Before joining the course, my main goal was to be a video game composer. I thought going through a course like this would develop my skills needed to do this job. Along with this, my back up plan was to go into carpentry. 3 years later, my aspirations have changed quite a bit but also linked. Due to this course, my aspirations have widened, looking more at game sound design and composition. After composing for a game and helping with foley, I realised it was something i would enjoy doing further. Along with this, I have been making more things, including instruments out of wood, so my back up plan from 3 years ago is now helping my sound career. This workflow using physical and digital is something I’m enjoying, and hope to do more of this in the future.
