Spatialisation score in Ableton

I wanted each channel to be a different note, creating chords hopefully. With some experimentation in previous blogs, I was able to make chord progressions by automating a pitch shifter for each channel.

To make this I first made the chord progression in midi. Afterwards, I aligned the tonic to the first channel, after this I shifted the rest of the channels in relation to the intervals of the chords. doing this for all the chords meant actually creating the score and what’s in between the notes was much easier

when arranging the chords, I learnt that slow is better, making this 6-minute long piece. Slower is better because of the audio distortion from the pitch shifters being more bearable the slower they are.

There’s a lot of digital clipping in the high end, due to the warping for pitch shifting, I need to look into how to solve this for the final submission.
